Tentative schedule for the 2018 International Rally (things may change)

Every morning, come and enjoy coffee, fellowship, and an opportunity to enjoy your old friends and meet new old friends at Torben Petersen's campsite (P17). Torben will supply the coffee (and probably some of the stories).

We would like all to wear name tags. If you have your own nametag, great. If you need one, we will have temporary tags. Please wear them all of the time you are in the park.

Every evening, around 5:30, come and enjoy socializing with your fellow campers at the host site.

We will need tables for food activities. If you have one we can use, please see Pete Brandon.

All meals will require you to bring your own utensils, plates, beverage, and chairs. You will probably be eating on your lap. We will have signup sheets for potlucks—we will need salads, main dishes, and desserts. It will help you to know if there is a disproportionate amount of each kind of food. We know that some of you have signature dishes and we can’t wait to try them out (and get your recipe), but don’t feel like anything has to be fancy. For the club dinner on Friday, you only need to bring beverages—plastic ware and plates will be provided.

There will be two orientation sessions demonstrating our new web site conducted by the website development team. Also Torben and Linda want to demonstrate how to post pictures on the current website. The sessions can accommodate 35-40 people. There will be a Group A and a Group B. The sessions will be held in the Club Room from 10:00 until 12:00. Sign up for a group at the host site.

Early arrivals
• Meet at host site for social time in the evening, or whenever.

Sunday 10 June
• Cedar Creeks arrive today. Meet and Greet at 5:30. Bring name tags or make one here.

Monday 11 June
• Explore Hwy 189 south—Bridal Veil Falls, Sundance, Provo Valley. Take a picnic lunch, enjoy the views, and take plenty of pictures.
• Pot luck supper. Please sign up for what you will bring at host site.

Tuesday 12 June
• 10:00-12:00 Group A website orientation at the Club Room.
• Spiff up your rig. Fix some of the things you’ve been putting off. Install accessories that you may have brought. Some of our members are quite handy, knowledgeable, and experienced in most things Cedar Creek and my volunteer to help you out.
• 3:00 Heber Valley Railroad: Deer Creek Express—This 90 minute trip offers incredible views of the Wasatch Mountains, the wide-open vistas of Deer Creek Reservoir, and the beautiful Heber Valley. The Deer Creek Express departs from the depot, follows the shores of Deer Creek Reservoir to Decker Bay, and returns. [https://hebervalleyrr.org/trainpackages ... ekexpress/]
• You can book a zip-line ride at Provo Canyon Adventures. [http://adventureziplineutah.com/]
• Heavy hors d’oeuvres at 5:30 at host site. Bring something to share. This will serve as our evening meal.

Wednesday 13 June
• 8:30-10:00 Pancake/waffle breakfast. Bring a dish to share that will go with the breakfast theme. We will also have the capability for boiled omelets.
• 10:00-12:00 Group B website orientation at the Club Room
• Crater Springs Golf Course at 1:00 PM: Nine hole Scramble, $35.00 per player that that includes a cart. There are rental clubs available.
• We need something to do for those who are not playing golf

Thursday 14 June
• Presidents breakfast at 7:30 at TBD
• Book a tour at Temple Square in Salt Lake City, visit the Family Search Center (check you family genealogy), or Family History Library. Hear the organ recitals at 12:00 and 2:00 in the Conference Center. Go as a group (recommended) or individually.

Friday 15 June
• Fly fishing outing. Torben will provide the details.
• Wasatch Mountain Music Festival. Starts at 10:00 AM on Jun 15, 2018 and runs through 7:00 PM on on Jun 16, 2018. [http://www.gohebervalley.com/Wasatch-Mo ... c-Festival]
• Dinner at 5:30. Dinner will be provided. We will have Frogmore Stew (low country boil). It will have shrimp. If anyone has food allergies, please let Pete Brandon know. The shrimp will be cooked separately so those with shellfish allergies will be safe eating the rest of the stew. Those with other allergies can be accommodated also. Plates and utensils will be provided for this meal. Please bring a beverage.
• Annual Business Meeting at 6:30. This is our only business meeting of the year.

Saturday 16 June
• Some of our members leave today
• Show off your Cedar Creeks. Some of you with new, redecorated, refurbished, Cedar Creeks may want to show them off. Others who have added accessories, added built-in furniture, or have a new and wonderful idea to show off will participate, too. The tour will start at 9:30 and go until lunch time. Just turn on your porch light to let folks know that you are ready to receive guests/looky loos.
• Left-overs supper tonight

Sunday 17 June
• Break camp
• Head out on the Odyssey

Looking forward to it. Dave or David, is there anyway we can get this moved up to announcements and the past rally threads moved down to topics. We should also get the Ho Chunk rally moved up to announcements. Thanks.

Ellen and I have reservations made for site P 1 arriving June 10th and departing June 17th. We are looking forward to attending and seeing many old friends. We will be delighted to make lots of new acquaintances as well. We are all excited to return to the forum to assist in planning out season.

Rod and Gayle had reserved site M8 but unfortunately had to cancel because it conflicted with Rod's annual fishing trip. Maybe next time! Have fun everyone!

David's brother Jim Marlow, my brother Alan Knox and his family are joining us at Heber City. Not sure now of their site #'s but they were registered sometime in August. I'll try to find the site numbers on fb possibly or in my texts. Alan and his family will be joining us from Santa Clara, UT (St. George) which is the south and east a bit.

Pete,

I talked with Joe & Nita Boatright and they are going to the rally but are unable to get on the club page. They are in M8 according to Joe.

Thanks,
